Hello, I ordered a pair of the MB QSD 216s yesterday and they are to arrive tomorrow. The pioneer amp I have is 45X5 and does distort the speakers (stock) when turned up. My question is will this provide enough power to the front speakers to get the full benefit of the upgrade? If not what would you guys recommend using to push them? Last question, will there be any fitment problems these? Thanks

I'm not too familiar with your MB Quarts, but I would imaging you'd need an amp to get the full potential out of those speakers.

How's everything else going? Are you still unhappy with their trim plate?

Thanks for responding Aaron. The trim plate fits nicely, but just looks cheap (black abs) That's why I was wondering if I could bring my ride up there and have that exotic dash place take out my trim plate and wrap it. If this is possible then I'll probaly come up this Saturday. Will you be in town? I still haven't still your CL with hops, last time there were still in the accord. Who knows maybe a few of us can get together. Let me know.

 

I'll be around this Saturday during the day. My night is pretty busy though. Anyhow, the place I know of that can wrap your piece will have to ship it out. The whole process takes about 2 weeks. If you're interested I can remove the trim piece for you and just drop if off on monday. Later.
