Angry Dissapointed with aftermarket system

I have changed the Bose system with the exception of the HU. But I am dissapoined with the sound. I have MB Quart 6" Reference Coxails, JL Subwoofer, two Percision Power Amp, one a 4x50 watts. The sound is very twiny, not great depth, a hiss sound. I have tried many times to adjust the crossovers on the amps but still something is missing. Are the MB's underpowered? poor speaker selection for a mild system? In line converter not adjusted right? Or do I need a new HU? Please help!!

What do you mean by hiss sound? Can you hear this sound with the raido volume down and press on the gas pedel?

Someone said before that Boss head unit and speakers both have built in amp(?) so if you replace the speakers or HU only it won't sound as great. You have change both in order to see the benefits of aftermarket system.
Some on the board have just added amp and sub to existing boss system and they sound very good.
Ron (streeteffectz) installed em. You should ask him for technical details. He's the best we have IMO.

The main problem is the HU. It doesn't give strong enough signals through the RCA, so your speakers seems like its running very low.
