Dice R4 ipod install pictures for '07 TSX Navi

If anyone is interested, I have photos from installing the Dice I-Honda R4 ipod kit in my 2007 TSX with Navi. I am currently running it in CDC mode since I'm keeping my XM radio right now, so no on-screen text. Still, it works great.

The pictures show where I mounted the "brain" unit using a simple zip-tie, and where I drilled a hole and inserted a rubber grommet for the ipod cable.
The hole was drilled with a 5/8" bit and the grommet's hole is 1/2".

Here's the link:

Big thanks to uncald4 at Gig Harbor Autoworks, and Nick at Dice.

Thats a great demo man, thanks alot for taking the time out for it.

I am getting an 04 TSX w/o navi in the next couple of weeks and plan to do the same.

As I understand it, you didn't have to touch the factory audio (ie. take it out and/or add any harnesses, etc)?

I've never done anything like this before, but certainly excited to try!

Keep in mind that since you have an 04 TSX, you're not going to have text. You have to be able to get behind the radio with your hand, you just have to plug in the DICE kit. Since you have an 04 w/o navi you shouldn't have to remove anything either.

Where did you get the rubber piece on the hole you drilled in the compartment?

Could you also let us know how to remove that compartment from the car where you drilled the hole?

I am a newbie to all this and don't wanna break anything. Perhaps you guys know of some other thread/manual where I can get instructions on how to remove the unit properly and what tools I'd need.

Thanks!
