Diamond Subs

Just wondering if anyone has used the Diamond M6 subs? I was wondering how they would compare to an Image IDMAX 12 in the same enclosure with 500 watts. I am thinking about switching to one so, I can have all Diamond speakers. Any info would be appreciated.

umm I think jsut from reading forums and reviews the IDMAX is better woofer. But then again u are comparing to high dollar speakers so I am expecting bias reactions.

The idmax is more comparable to the TDX-series. The M6 is a step below the IDMAX.

I thought that was the case but, I am not really a bass head and I think I could get by with it but, the Diamond M6 box is bigger than the IDMAX and that, I do not want. I might go down to a 10" of some sort. I really want an even smaller box than the 1.5 that I have.

Stereo Integrity Magnum D2..

It'll take a box smaller than the IDMAX. Less than 1 cube for a qtc of .707. But of course QTC means nothing in a car and we're just using it for comparison.

I misread Diamond's website. It does indeed say the M6 can go in a box as small as .6 up to 1.75. That would work for sure. I will be thinking about that. Also, I was looking at the 10W6V2 or 12W6V2 but, man are they still expensive.

GSteg....I have not heard of that but, I am only looking at Diamond or JL, maybe Eclipse. I like to keep to a couple of brands
