which component is better in your opinion.

I don't know anythin about the MB Quarts but if i get the Diamonds i want to get the hex s600s.
They are pricey tho but how good r MBQuarts?

 

I would rate MBQ a hair better than Diamond... personally, I am not a huge fan of either. I don't like metal tweeters.

I'd throw Focal, a/d/s/, DLS, CDT, and Rainbow into that mix. Unless you're just brand shopping of course...

Me personally, I like the Diamonds over the quarts because I think the midbass response is better for the Diamond in an infinite baffle type installation (doors).

 

I like the Diamonds as well. I just put the S600s in my Honda Pilot. I love the silk tweeters. Of course, I am a huge Diamond fan anyway, as you can tell from my sig.

BTW....I had Boston Pro 6.5 in the Pilot and the midbass in the Diamonds are much better.

 

I would also recomend as someone else already has take a look at DLS unbeleavible mid bass responce

 

thw Quarts are one of the best brands available IMO, not too much personal experience with the diamonds
