deck??
this question has nothing to do with the TSX, but i just wanted to know if it makes a big difference if you buy a new deck for the car or is the stock deck good enough, i just got a system installed...

I think that at 16, you don't know what you like, just like many of us - and the only way you will learn is the way all of us learned - by trying things and deciding if you like them.
The problem is, like most system questions from noobs, is that you truly don't know what you want yet (that's OK, but it's also true). You've probably listened to computer speakers and mini headphones most of your life, so you don't have a reference for musical "fidelity" (which means truth, btw). Your 12" sub certainly is impressive, though, and you like it, but you know it can be better, and you're not sure where to go.
Brettler's dweebs at CarToys probably won't tell you... but what you might want to do is go to a place like Definitive Audio and listen to a real hi-fi home stereo. It may or may not be what you want... but the difference between its sound, and a factory car system with a couple of 12" are significant. Who knows, you might end up with the curse and leave a lot of money in this industry : )
Good luck on your journey! Welcome to the board!

i did the same thing, started with some 6x9s, then got components a mono amp and 1 12" sub, now im replacing it with two 8" subs and and a 5 channel amp and getting rid of the 6x9s... the change of mind cost me about $200-$300, so my advice is look and listen around, and dont buy with your eyes, but youve already got your stuff, so thats irrelevant...for the time being.
