does anybody have one those in their car? if so, can you tell me about the tv tuner. is it once u install it, u can watch tv and change channels or do you have to buy the antenna for it before you can get any signals to watch tv. thanks in advance!

 

I own a AVHP7600 by Pioneer. That unit came with a built in TV Tuner and the antennas. The picture comes very good. Most in dash units do not have a TV tuner and you must purchase it separately. Good luck finding one that you like!

 

I have the same setup and I love watching regular tv in my car

 

i know most units dont have a built in tv tuner. i wanted to know if you can still watch tv without the antenna or would the quality wont be as good as if u had one installed in the car.

 

the antenna from my experience makes all the difference, you get much better reception. often times you cannot see anything much at all w/o the antenna plugged in

BTW it's not a like a cb radio antenna most are somewhat easy to conceal

 

the tuner comes with its OWN antenna ? or can it/does it use the cars built-in antenna ?

 

good point... i would like to kno also... im hearing that you have to buy an antenna even if the tv tuner is built in otherwise u cant see shit or its really bad...
