Does anyone know if the 2-series 6.5" A/D/S components fit well in the TSX. I want to get components but I dont' want my tweeters to stick out like many of the alpine R and S-Type installs I have seen. Also, how do these compare to the Alpines?

 

The 2-series tweeter is the same as the 3-series tweeter - plays way low and plays a lot of midrange. Alpine doesn't try to do this until Type X or F#1. The R and S tweeters are much less capable and play starting much higher - a setup that does not lend itself to the TSX.

I haven't tried to fit them yet - my a/d/s/ shipment should be in in about 10 days and I can't say much until then, sorry.
