Custom TSX trunk

Ok guys, go easy on me... this was my first try at building or painting anything custom. I painted my JL amp and sub and built the box. For the paint job I put down a white, then a J and L I made from a vinyl sticker I had, then painted everything black, then took up the vinyl and put down a light coat of gray metallic.

The box I built because I wanted something different and wanted to still have use of at least half my trunk

Defintley different and unique. It just looks like uhhh half.. It could probably grow on me.. Any pictures from the other angle?

All in all not a bad first attempt at all.. I usually go through about 10-15 revisions before I get something I like.

But because I wanted to have it only take up half the trunk, I needed to extend it out so I could get enough surface area to mount both the amp and the sub.

Good job for your first time. Looks clean. The shape is a little odd but it looks clean, no wires, and you can still fit about 4-5 bags of food and a gallon o'milk.

Isn't it not good for the sound if you build a sealed box without the correct amount of volume?

Man... I wanted to build my own box as well but since I'm still moving around in college I need all the trunk space I can get.

Good job on your first build
