Does anyone make custom DD Dash kits for the TL besides Street Effectz? They quoted me $350 for the custom fabricated kit for my Kenwood DDX-7015. Another guy out of NY emailed me this:

to build just a kit with lather or wood trim on tom will cost you 150 if you want it out of fiberglass it will cost you 300


What is Lather? and what should this kit be built out of? Honestly, if it matches the black plastic on the TL then that would be perfect. What are the advantages of going with Fiberglass?

 

i would suggest that you check out some local places. better to see it in person.

 

Who did you talk to at my place? What exactly were we making for $350? If you just want a faceplate that matches the dash, it's more like $150.

Ron and I have been emailing each other back and forth. He quoted me $350 + tax for the fabricated dash kit and install of the HU and then I asked him how much just for the kit in which he quoted me $300 + tax? If you can do something for around $150, I would be interested.
