Curious about tsx in-dash DVD

I have on 06 tsx with the new aux in the center console. Will i be able to put in a DVD player, run an aux cable from the dvd player to the one in the center console. then run an ipod connection from the dvd player to the center console. my whole reason for this is to keep the oem hu completely intact.

thanks

Get this:

You'll be able to keep control your Ipod, hook up the DVD, and even still keep the aux in headphone jack.

I think this is more or less the kind of setup that you want.

Im not sure if im going to get the poineer with a Nav or not. then i was wondering if i would be able to have an ipod interface hoooked up to the dvd that i will be installing. thanks

You could just use the auxilary input from the center console. You would need an rca to mini jack cable to do so. If you also want an iPod hookup, i would recommend you buy the UsaSpec adapter in the above link. This adapter has an iPod dock connector and a set of rca's on it. You could then just connect the dvd player to the UsaSpec through the rca's, plus you would have steering wheel controls for the iPod (not to mention better sound quality because you would be using the dock connector's line out instead of the headphone jack on the iPod). This will still keep your head unit completely intact.
