I'm thinking about buying a double-din DVD receiver from Crutchfield and they include an installation kit with the purchase. I'm wondering if anyone has used one of their kits and if it matches the factory console plastic well.

i don't have any pix but my metra kit from them looks fresh. my center console on the other hand, has been exposed to the sun. you'll definitely be able to tell it was added later. maybe post a wtb ad for double din from someone?

i used the metra kit in my 03. matches perfectly.

i have pix in there. notice right above my head unit.. the small gap.. alot of folks get that. i'll be putting double-sided adhesive on it next time i pull it out which should make it flush.

ps - sonicelectronix is cheaper.

i just sold my tl and i had a double din navi in it, which i took out. Its the metra kit and looks great almost matches the dash i could sell it too you since i have no use for it now....
