I just read through some threads regarding this, but I found a lot of misinformation. Anyhow, I have an 03 CL and wanted to just swap out the stock speakers with some 2-3 ways for better sound quality. I'm not a huge audiophile or anything, but I just want some clearer mids/highs along with some better bass. Nothing huge. What speakers and size should I get which aren't expensive and don't have issues with space clearance or anything else? Also, which ohm rating?

 

If you ask questions like this on a public forum you will get a lot more misinformation. I would head down to your local car audio shop and listen to every speaker that you can afford. Stick with the bigger brands. Don't put any value in cosmetics. It's going to be hidden anyway. Good luck.
