OK here's the story....
I'm finally taking my door's off and to my amazement there is a tiny hole for the speaker. My Diamond's basket is way to big for that hole. I don't really want to cut the door's. Problem #2 these Diamond's are almost a 1/2 inch deeper. I tried fitting my Focal's in to see if maybe I could use them for the front's but I run into the basket issue again. I have made a 3/4 inch spacer. It doesn't look like there will be any room for a larger spacer.
Has anyone else run into this problem??
For now I put my Alpine DDDrive's in. They are decent enough for now.
Also one problem that might show up later.
On the rear deck lid the trunk lid support bar's run around the speaker magnet's. This is where I will be putting my Focal's with an enclosure. I think with the pressure that those 12's will be producing might distort them.
Has anyone run into a depth issue/problem with these support bar's??
