circuit breaker

i just ordered a stinger kit with a 200A circuit beaker.. my amp only uses 80 amps tho.. is this alright or should i get a smaller fuse for the circuit breaker?

THe breaker up under the hood will protect your wire. The fuse on the amp should protect your amp.

My question would be, will the wire you're running HANDLE 200 amps?

yea most definately.. i mean i hope lol the breaker came with the wire.. its a stinger 0 gauge kit comes with the power,ground, remote and the circuit breaker

my thought is go up to the next amperage. (have 80amp. buy 100amp)
