Check out this sweet g35 install
Here are my two cents- as a person who did a similar work on my Accord V6 using PC104 industrial computer pack- with 8" LCD screen (640x480). Accord has a very nice nook, the same place where our coin tray resides, to put my PC104 stack, about 4" high. I put LCD panel as a cover. At that time, I also used my DeLorme GPS receiver and AAA MapnGo software for the navi function, but it's VERY distracting. Just magine you need to type a new destination with your RF keyboard on your lap while you are crusing down a freeway!! Trust me, I did that myself before and there's no fun in that. There's nothing like a factory-installed, fully-integrated touch-screen LCD. You need to wait for Windoz to boot up, and you need to shut down everytime or next time you get scandisk running all the time. Standby feature may be a help though, but the battery would drain sooner or later. Also, there's nothing dorkier than pulling out an RF keyboard from backseat, unless you want to make an impression in that direction.
Actually, at $2000, our navi option is quite a bargin- the parts I used cost more than $2000.
But, the idea and workmanship is great. It could be something to think about for those who don't have navi option. But, if you have $2000 to throw in, get a navi, especially if you are a person who loves to drive around. You wouldn't regret it. Besides, for those who did Navi conversion using GEX or similar, you can always add a computer with VGA->composite conversion later.

- It's big for only being 150W.
- 150W is unnecessary (I only need 60-70W).
- Their FAQs says that shutdown timings are "10 seconds, 20 minutes, 40 minutes or 60 minutes using jumpers on the powerboard (factory default is set to 10 seconds)". 10 seconds is not enough. 20 minutes is WAY too much.
- It's expensive: Around $190
- A new version was supposedly going to be released back in January, and it STILL has not come out yet.
- Opus's discussion forum no longer works
- Folks on the former Opus forum are pissed about how little the company does to support their product.
- They just seem kindof shady to deal with
Again, thanks for the input, but I am satisfied with my current power solution:
