I was thinking about changing my navi out with a pioneer unit but the question is can it be done since the climate controls work with the touch navi screen and dont want to lose the ability to control the ac and heat and fan speed.thanx guys let me know.

 

Why not keep the navi and put the pioneer unit in place of the factory headunit - I know this is a non-navi, but it would look something like this:
