for some reason my radio will not switch to the cd player. it will not let me load any cd's and it will not let me eject any cd's. Any suggestions.

 

It may sound dumb but is there a CD stuck in the machine? Do you hear mechanical sounds coming from the deck when yopu power it up like it is trying to deal with a stuck disk? Just a shot in the dark.. I had a stock 6 disk Izusu changer do this and it wes becaus it couldnt deal with the thickness of a burnt cd I put into it. After trying to correct itself by ejecting the disk and failing to do so, it would just power-off.

 

doesnt make any sound at all. But when i try to put a cd inside it, it seems something is blocking the disc from entering.
