CD Player Question

My wife asked me to figure this out and I couldn't....so hopefully you guys (or gals) can make me look good.

Here is the question:
Do our stock CD players have the ability to fast forward by second? All I could find is to FF to the next song.

My wife really used this feature alot in our Infiniti and would like to know if the Acura does the same.

Thanks!

Yes it does! All CD players have that feature.

It will advance by the second, just hold down the track+/- buttons. Note that the display will not show the amount of elapsed time, unless it does and I just don't know about it. Anybody?

The elapsed time *will* show, but *only* when you hold down the track +/- buttons to fast forward or rewind. Unfortunately there is no way to toggle this display during normal playback.

I've tried it, but as I recall mine didn't do that. Either I am wrong, which is a very good possibility, or they made some changes between '00 and '02 Bose models.

Tried it out and elapsed time doesn't show in the display of my '00.
