I'm a new user of this site, but I've come here before and gotten some useful information.

I have a 2003 TL-S and my CD changer is showing Err-3. It will not load or eject any of the CDs that are in it. I have been told that I can have it pulled and sent for repair, but I was wondering if it would be cheaper to replace the HU and to see what brand of speakers I might be able to use to replace the other speakers.

Yea, they die that way. It's about $300.00 for a new changer cartridge plus installation. You might want to consider an aftermarket deck...
