CD Changer in 2000 TL

Hey guys, I have gotten sick of not being able to play my burned cdr's in my 00 TL. SO, i went to bestbuy the other day to look at cd changers and was pretty upset when the guy told me most their stuff wouldnt work with the factory BOSE system . . What options do i have ? whats the best way to do this ?

I searched and was unable to find what i am looking for ... thanks in advance.

Most factory (01-02) do play most cd-r's and you could pick up a stock 6-disc in dash headunit for around $200-250.. That should work out fine for you..

Alpine (non AI-net) changers will work with with the 99-01 single disk head unit.

I have one, can't remember the model. All you need is the correct cable for it.

1) Where can i buy the cables for installing the cd changer to my stock cd player?
2) Does anyone know of a particular model that fits into the glove box and is known to be REALLY good?

Last but not least . . the mp3 capability . any help would be MUCH appreciated . . thanks.

That's how I did it--but you end up with a control panel for the changer on the dash if you don't go with one of the interfaces that the Blitzsafe supports (like certain Alpines).

I have the Panasonic 12-disk mp3 player, model 1500 something or other. Great unit. Totally blows away my last one, which was a Sony 757 something. Only problem is that I had to cut the control cable to get access to the RCA signal, since the one with the control panel is meant to be used with the RF modulator. (Something I would never use).

If you plan to keep the stock headunit, the blitzsafe alpine interface is probably the way to go.

Which CD changer (make and model) would you reccomend if i was looking to hook it up using the blitzsafe interface, wanted to control it using my factory HU and get GOOD sound quality all at the sametime . . thanks alot for your help btw . .

Sorry, don't know--Never had an Alpine. I'd look at blitzsafe info (enfig.com?) and see what units it's compatible with--then get the latest and greatest on that list.
