Mike, I don't know what it is. Could you please enlighten me? Is it similar to Dynamat?

Hey, that does look affordable! $70 for two doors? Not too bad.

Street: how well do they work? And how much trouble are they to install?

A bunch of folks I talked to also say it is great but they sell it also. But what I liked is it isn't based on asphalt. So it isn't stinky and also lighter.

hey people!

here's a cool article this guy wrote about damping his car. he wrote about two types of dampening, and compared between dynamat and cascade,,,, and he wrote about where you can get the actual material to sustitute it,,, well it's actually the exact material:
http://www.math.ohio-state.edu/~ccun...xima/damp.html

and here's a place that i have found the cascade product the cheapest,,, but if any of you guys can get it cheaper, let me know please, thanks!
http://www.carstereopro.com/dynamat.html

and how much will it take to cover the whole car?

I ordered my Cascade from them last week. Got it in the three days they promised. Great price on Cascade. I'd recommend them.

hey NSXNEXT!

so how much cascade did you order and how much of your car did you cover? i'm thinking of ordering 2 packs of the 42 sqft to cover the car,,, do you think that it's too much? or too little? i'm going to do 4-doors, floor pan, trunk, roof, firewall, and some miscellaneous places.

What do you think? thanks!

For all that I would think you would need at leats two two packs. Best bet is to rought measure out the areas that you'll do.

Once Ron finishes my car next week I can tell you how much he used and what he did.
