That's a toughie... I never knew anyone north of Car Spa in Va Beach all the way to Baltimore. We had a lousy rep there at the time, so we weren't in any good dealers.
How var is Manassas? Safe and Sound? They're Alpine F1...

I want to add a navi system to my 03 TL S without removing the bose system. I want to find a place that does a lot of custom work, just to explore some options.

why not just put the OEM navi in there?! the whole system can be bought on ebay for less then a grand. without losing the bose system, your custom navi screen wooul have to come out of the side of the dash on a movable arm.

I can get you one of the telesoping arms they use for small luxo aircraft monitors. FAA certified.

I've offered it before.....we are in NJ and we do offer a transport service if you do not want to drive you car up to us.
One option you might consider is doing a screen that flips up OUT of the dash. Check out the link below. This is just a one day job we did, it's all the customer wanted. Nothing too crazy, had to fit her budget

No, ghetto is leaving the 7" LCD loose with the cable coming out the back... or using one of those mounts that goes in the air vent.
Of course, what I'm thinking is a bit Inspector Gadget meets 24 : )
I like using the Icon display like that... Ron, how does it do with the OP of a nav system? I know it's just yellow-RCA in, right?

What kind of screen is that? Is it fully motorized?
How much was that install? Did you have to cut her dash?

That's actually an Accele screen. It is fully motorized with 2 inputs and wireless remote. That particular dash was cut to sink the screen down in it. I like it too, but still prefer to make a nice fiberglass surround and put it on top of the dash. It just happened to fit in hers.
The install in that Jeep was $250 if I recall correctly. To do it in a TL/CL, however, we would have to fiberglass on top of the dash as there isn't enough room to sink it down like that.
Elduderino....yup, just composite video in
