fellas, i have just obtained an 01 cl. and as ya'll know the system lacks a wee bit. I have been to several car audio stores and am puzzled!! so i find a good aftermarket deck, four good speakers, and an 4 channel amp and that's it?? will this increase the sound in the car? more volume, better clarity, and overall upgrade, (providing theses items are better than the bose, right?) oh yeah, is it possible to have a double din installed w/ a metra kit?

to put in a double din you would need to cut the metra kit and customize it. I would recommend against that if possible.

and yes, a deck an amp and speakers will be much better than the bose. add a subwoofer (through a 2nd amp or with one 5 channel amp) and this will make a huge difference too.
