Car Alarm suggestions?

I've been searching but I cant really quite find what I am looking for. I want to get an aftermarket car alarm because I feel the stock one isn't good enough. I see a Viper 5901 for about $280. The thing is I dont really need remote starter. All I am looking for are shock and tilt sensors, and a two way fob. Any suggestions on cheaper alarms than the viper. Also about how much would installation be on an 00 TL? Thanks

viper has one that has no remote start i dont remember the model number. and it all depends on who installs it cant give you a direct price. Mine was free since i used to work at circuit city and have hook ups. But it can go from anywhere from 120-200 on install anywhere

remote start on combo units is optional. dont buy the cheapest thing you find because it'll be nothin but problems.

I recommend compustar or code alarm, I've been installing them for over 4 years and they are awesome.

if your just installing the alarm it shouldn't be more than 200 bucks, with doorlocks and trunk release.if you wanna try it yourself I just put up a DIY on it the other day.
