Post can you amp the factory sub w/ a different amp?...please help~~!!

can you amp the factory sub with a different amp...... cuz i just want a little more bass using stock sub but the factory amp is just too weak. The amp I want to use is a little amp just enuff to power my factory sub. it has rca's inputs but it also has speaker outputs and inputs..like
r+ r- L+ L- on both ends of the amp ..one for input and one for output. How do I hook this up?.....Do i need a line converter.
please help

It won't make any difference. That stock sub (even though it sounds ok for a stock sub) is a piece of crap Amplifing it with a different amp will not make any noticeable difference except maybe distort it.
