Can someone help me with Blue LED install problem?
I am trying to install 4 blue LEDs connected to the factory alarm. First I tapped into the factory power and ground wires that went into the factory LED. They all worked for a while but then 1 LED went out, the passenger side. I replaced it and they all worked again. This morning they were all out. OK. I ran a new 12volt wire from the battery and still used the factory ground. When I connect the passenger side, they work REALLY BRIGHT. When I connect all 4 OR just the driver's side they are all dim. WTF? I really doubt both driver's side LEDs are no good. What could be wrong? Are you not supposed to have too many on the same power wire? I e-mailed Streeteffectz but he didn't respond yet and I really want to finish this up tonight.
DUDE! I've been wanting to do this but I am not too experienced on car electronics.. could you post some instructions and pics?? I'm not sure how older TLs are, but my 01 has only one on the driver's side next to the lock.. Thanks.

Sorry but I don't know how to change the stock LED. I just added 2 in the triangle piece in the top corner of the door and left the stock one untouched. I have mine in the same spot as TL Daddy.
