Can someone help me on the 2nd Gen Bose System?

My Bose system has a problem with sounding really distorted on cool mornings or evenings, and so far the dealer has replaced the headunit, equalizer, and amplifier..

What else is left? Does anyone know every component of the system or have a diagram? I think all that is left are speakers.

EDIT: It's an 02 TL

Its possible that it could be the speakers, i mean i dont think there is any other portion left in the puzzle, except for maybe the speaker wires.

Depending on how cool cool is, a bad power connection/fuse/ ground to the OEM amp would create this kind of problem. It could also be a short in a speaker wire or speaker itslef, I guess.

Thanks! My TL has been back to the dealer 8 times in 3 months for this problem and they've replaced the headunit, amp, and equalizer. Now they expect me to live with it!

I've told them they can have their 05 RL back when I can have my 02 TL back repaired, essentially. I've filed complaints against them and everything, it is like they're refusing to repair it. They acknowledge the problem, but have the "We don't know nothin'" attitude about it.

Edit: If it were a bad ground, it looks like that would have been solved by the replacement of the amp. If it were a bad fuse, wouldn't it not work any or sound bad constantly?

This is somewhat of an ignorant guess - but current drain as a result of the use of your heater, heated seats, etc. In which case the problem becomes the alternator?
