I have a set of Polk Momo MMC6500 components. I want to use a 2 channel amp that I have already, but someone told me that it may not sound good because the amp doesnt have a high pass filter..... but isnt that what the crossover is for??

 

A high pass filter would help as it would keep the lowest frequencies out of your mids.............................................. ................ But it's not absolutely necessary......................................... ...................
