This may sound like a stupid question, but I am a "sounds" guy. I'm used to having a custom audio sound system, with a sub, amp, ect. Looking at these new cars, it looks like with the technology, that it might not be possible to adjust anything with the sound system, without messing everything up.

maybe he is asking if there's a way to adjust amps settings ,1wheel .As if there was a eq setting a boost setting or a gain.Is this what your trying to ask RG 20's ?

 

I'm asking if you can change the speakers and amp. While the sound systems sound nice, they are definitely not what you'd get if you had a custom sound system, with a sub, amp, custom stereo and speakers.

 

You can adjust the sound of the stock system with the basic "treble, bass, balance, fade" adjustments.

If you're talking about aftermarket additions, that's very possible as well.

Yo that's exactly what I'm talking about - aftermarket additions. It seems like the stock stereo is very integrated with the car's computer, and I'm not that familiar with the new technology. I am thinking that trying to install and amp or two on the car's battery, might mess up the car's computer.

I'm also wondering how a person would install the eq, to control the added amp.

 

Factory HU with add ons will sound fine.If your going to upgrade any speakers I would definitly upgrade to matching impedence amps (ohms),"that way they will sound good".
