Can anyone help with HU radio code??

Can someone help in retrieving the radio code to activate the HU (6 disc in dash from rnelson's TL) I just replaced in my 99' TL Single disc HU with?

Rob didn't send the code with the HU, hopefully the code is on it's way, but I am having a difficult time without a functional radio

If you are able to help me retrieve the code, I would be greatly appreciative and will make it worth your while. I have the serial number which I can provide via e-mail.

Please e-mail me at jsuppi@yahoo.com, or PM me.

Thanks

-Johnny

if memory serves me correctly, you need the serial number of the radio and the vin of the car it came out of to get the code from Acura, or you can get rnelson to get the code (which would be far easier)

Already tried Having a hard time getting ahold of him, would not be a problem if I had the VIN, but alas since I can't get ahold of him, no VIN and no code which leads to No radio

If you take the radio to them then they are more suspicious because its out of the other car. My suggestion is go to your local Tweeter or Best buy or any install shop , and ask them for help. You can even get the code from a HONDA dealership, thats how i got it for mine, they call a Acura dealership and get the Code for you, but then again they need proff of purchase and all the bull.
