Bypassing Bose Amp?

I know some people have done this, but searching just confused me more.

My intention is to run speakers from my HU without any amp. I've got aftermarket speakers (Boston rm6's and rm9's) that I want to run straight off of my aftermarket HU. The new HU puts out about 25x4 W RMS which from what I've read here, is more than the stock bose amp puts out. Now the bose amp, I assuming uses speaker level inputs(instead of RCAs) as well as outputs to receive/send signals. Without running new speaker wire from the HU, can I simply connect the input and outputs together at the amp to get a direct line signal from the HU to the speakers? Essentially bypassing the signal to the amp and sending it straight to the speakers using the factory speaker wires.

I just want to be sure that this is how you would bypass the bose amp, before I actually do it and find out that I missing something. Also are any of the other stock wires connecting to the amp essential in this type of setup?

I do appreciate any input. Thanks
