Here are a few pics of my new stereo. I changed out the factory speakers to JL XR(fronts), VR(backs). I love it. It is LOUD!!!!

What did you use or your face plate? Color match seems pretty good.

 

I didn't do it myself, but the shop used wood-sanded and primered numerous times then painted with a flat black spray paint-I believe. I like it-it turned out pretty nice.

yo nice deck. i got the 7873. but mine sticks out! thats the only thing i hate about it. and the fact that it get hot. but. damn it sticks out! i have a 96 2.5. now the guy at tweeter said that they only have this one kind of face plate for my car. i don't even get a pocket uder the deck. god damnit.

anyone else have a different face plate? one with a pocket so i can show tweeter and get them to possibly change it? or even one that doesn't stick out. thanks

 

it is an alpine 7875. I like it. thanks for the compliments. they did a good job at matching the color. i was pretty worried about that, but i am happy with it.
