DESIGN IT YOURSELF

I'm about to replace my factory system and what some ideas. So I want to know what you have in your car now or what you would want. PLease include Manufacture and Model. If you have the price of the item that would be nice. I want to replace the factory speakers and add possibly a DVD player or Multimedia control from Alpine, and of course SUBS. Let me know what you think it a nice one.

These are about as direct a replacement for factory that you could ask for!

 

well i dont have alpine but i replaced my stock headunit with the pioneer avx-7300dvd.....indash motorized tv and dvd player....i also installed a premiere 6 disk indash changer....for the sub right now i have a kicker solo but i will be replacing that with a jl 10w6 when then new ones come out this year....and for the door speakers i am in the process of replacing all the door speakers with either focal coxial or jl audio coxial.....

 

shawhite got any picks? where did you find your changer?

 

you might want to check out some of the Boston Acoustics' stuff...

They make a few different 6" coaxials, some with 3/4" tweets, some with 1"s.

Their RM6 speakers have a 1" tweeter, 95dB efficiency and sound pretty damn good.

I have 2 Kicker RMB8 midbasses that I am going to put in the doors. However, the Kicker RMB8 is a midbass speaker, not a true sub. It can still be used as a sub but it won't go as deep as a true sub.
