boston rc 620 crossover rattle

I bought some boston rc620s. When i took then outta the box, i noticed that the crossovers rattle. It seems something is loose in both of them and they make noise when you move them. Is this normal, and im just a phsyco? Or should i return them. Any suggestions please.

Doesn't sound normal...does anything physically move when you look inside of it?

Tighten down all the screws on the terminals, then see if it still rattles. I thought you meant something coming from the inside of the case.

the terminals have small metal pieces in them that do rattle untill they're tightened down. When you install them, also make sure to tighten down the 2 unused terminals for the ambient tweeter module.

Yea i have them installed, think it was the terminals. They sound good, my only problem is that i get this farting sound out of the speakers when i have a song with strong bass on. It is fine with most songs, but with some it makes this sound. I cant tell if they need to be tuned, or if it is because either the door or speaker is ratling. I only get it if i have the bass up above +2 or +3, and when the volume on my eclipse is above 46. Does this sound like a tuning issue ora rattle issue. Its hard to tell. It kinda sucks that i cant turn it up without hearing it. The guy at tweeters tryin to bs saying that these speakers arent made too push base and other bs. Someone please help

There really aren't ment to play that low. You need to take out anything above where your sub plays.

If you don't have a sub, at least take out anything above 50hz. Most aftermarket radios w/ x-overs can do this.

Yea your eclipse should have a low frequency cut for your interiors set that to either 50-65 and you should be good.
