Bose System Code re-entry

For the 2nd gen cl when instally amp/subwoofer power was cut to the stock head unit. Now with the job complete the deck wont run without some code being entered. hmm????????? anybody have suggestions.

All Acura radios have a security code. This must be entered after a loss of power. This prevents expensive radios from being stolen (at least that's the idea).

You have to get the code from your Acura dealer with your VIN number.

There is a slot for it in the leather case the user guide comes in from the factory....check in there.

If this doesn't work, there is a thread in 2nd gen CL forum telling you how to get the serial number off the radio from the screen so you can call the dealer and give them that to get the code. Also, owner-link provides the code once you give them the VIN # for the car.
