Bluetooth Phone Kit Help

i want to buy one of the parrot bluetooth kits, but i have my speakers amped and the kit won't work with amped speakers. so i was wondering if anyone knew of a place to buy an external speaker. i would buy the motorola kit b/c i have a motorola phone, but i don't know if my next phone will be a moto, so i'm worried about compatability in the long run. any advice? thanx

Dumb question and of course I know nothing about the " Parrot". But if it's a "BlueTooth" why do you need to buy a specific brand phone kit (ex. Motorola)?

there could potentially be a bluetooth version compatablity issue (rare) if you were to by an older kit and a super new super phone but a new bluetooth kit from moto should work with any bluetooth phone.

Parrot allows firmware upgrades from a BT-equipped PC.

that's pretty sweet- I didn't know that. I love those parrot kits- I have the old moto hcb 30 that I pulled out of a customer's car who didn't want it anymore- so the price was right- If I were to go out an buy one now though I would def choose the parrot ck3100 or better.

I have the Parrot CK3100 Kit in my 2005 TSX and it works great. the only problem I have is when the install put the kit in my car he didn't install a relay to cut power to the amp the just pluged in the mute wire into the back of my HU and it only mutes the door speakers so when i get a call all i do is press the power button on the HU and when i hang up I press it again and all is good. and the audio for the Bluetooth comes throught the door speakers and it sounds great.
