Bluetooth add on for factory radio?

Does anyone know of any companies out there that make something like that? My father just got an 07 Ford Exploder and really wants to have a set-up like the new TLs have with the Bluetooth.

THe truck has an auxilary input built in so if there is something that would work with that, that would be ok as well.

Any help is appreciated.

Raytel just announced (in October) the 1st bluetooth system that ouputs the video via a composite signal. If he has a nav screen, you can integrate the system with a PAC Audio VCI adapter, which would allow you to see the info on the screen, and would mute the stereo upon incoming/outgoing calls. You *could* use the aux in for the incoming audio portion, but that would entail him switching to the aux input everytime he wants to make/take a call. The original system was the Tellphone 5000 (comes with a small LCD screen)... the new system with the video output signal (no LCD screen) is called the Tellphone 5000 Video Interface, and will be in limited release in December. Full release is in January... expect A LOT of backorders since a lot of shops have taken pre-orders.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately due to the way my father wanted the truck, adding Navi would have added to many other options he didn't want and he didn't have time to wait for one to be built so he got one without.

So is Raytel the most popular in terms of blue tooth car kits?

Oh... if you're not looking for OEM-like integration, then I would recommend one of the Motorola or Parrot car kits. I've known a few people that have integrated them into their vehicles, and they seem to have great reception on both ends of the call. The Parrot has more features, and their higher models also have LCDs.
