Blown OE 6x9 - Poll?

After a noob said they blew two pair of OE by-nines with the volume at 30 and the bass centered, I decided to float a poll.

I just pulled one out, if anyone wants it...

The bass is cleaner now, but the volume is a tad too loud.

my speakers are still working fine. i usually keep the volume at 10-12 when city driving and 12-15 when freeway driving. always with a bass level of +4. i think the speakers will be damaged soon enough if i keep my volume at a higher level for a longer period of time. i'd rather just put in a sub if i want more bass and not change my 6x9s.

btw, i there are other related threads about 6x9 issues, so check those out for more info.
