I'm still having trouble finding out some specifics on the Blitzsafe adapter. I have a 2000 TL w/ the dealer installed 6-disc changer in the trunk. When I play CDs I can press the CD button to toggle between the single in-dash player and the changer.

If I install the Blitzsafe adapter, will that then let me toggle between all three devices (single disc in-dash, 6-disc changer, and Blitzsafe's AUX input)? Or does installing the Blitzsafe adapter force me to unplug the 6-disc changer from my head unit?

Does the head unit only have one input on the back? Is the Blitzsafe adapter built as a pass-through device?

After pressing the CD button to toggle over to the AUX inputs, what is displayed on the radio?

Sadly, the Blitzsafe website contains a woeful lack of useful information about the adapters.

Thanks,
- DB

The blitz adapter will force you to unplug you changer....it will only work with an alpine or pioneer changer. As of right now, the factory changer will need to be eliminated.

You guys can order direct from us

i'm assuming that this is the case for separate mounted 6-disc changers, and that the indash changer in the later models are not connected to an aux port (leaving a free port) on the back of the h/u, correct?

how long does shipping usually take? I'm going to get the alpine xm system and am interested in this. is the one for the xm system the same as the alpine changers?
