blitzsafe problem

So, today I get in my 03 CL and switch on my Neo Car Jukebox, turn on the stereo and press the CD button twice to get into the AUX mode but my head unit won't go into AUX mode. By AUX mode, I mean the display reads "CD1 Track1-99" or something like that. I'm wondering if my blitzsafe has gone dead? Anyone have this problem or have any suggestions?

Try removing and reinserting the harness connector? (I've heard some say this can be done without opening the dash--but I'm not sure how).

If it is dead, I think they have a good warranty on the blitzsage adapters.

Thanks Derrick, actually I think I remember this happening before and I had to disconnect the blitzsafe from the HU and re-connect. But I don't know how you can do it without taking apart at least the side console panel and wood or silver accent?? I'll try it today and post up the results...hopefully it will work

As I recall, the cd-changer input is on the lower passenger side of the HU. Do a search for blitzsafe, and see if you can find the post from the person claiming to be able to hook one up without pulling the headunit. If you bought it from enfig.com, I would write them and ask what causes this.

So I unhooked the blitzsafe adapter, turned the car/stereo on, tried to switch to AUX mode and then shut the car off. Then I reattached the blitzsafe tried it again, still no AUX mode...did I blow something up???

What I found was that you have to have the aux unit on before you start the car or turn on the radio. I have had this problem before, and what I did was to insert the key into the ignition, turn on my DVD player/mp3 player, and then turn on the radio. The radio then can recognize the unit. I think it has to do with the bus cable to the Blitzsafe adapter. If that doesn't work, then you probably have a bad unit.
