U have your opinions, I have mine, and no I don't read super street, I read about competition audio hardware. My Audiobahn 3 way, plus the matched components and tweeters will handle my 600 watts that I'm pushing them with. If you look at the size of the 40 oz magnets, you'll see I was after powerful speakers, and these are good competition speakers.

Good thing I didn't buy A6 projectors

Dave, I will be doing a step by step DIY guide with lots of pics for the projector retrofit as well as the custom HID setup. There is a lot of information on this site already from 97acura3.0CL and vxcl as well if you search for them and retrofit or projectors you'll find lots of info. If you want to start lookin around at some pics, here's 97acura3.0CL's directory of pics and crap that he sent me, I have it hosted on my webserver.

40oz magnets dont mean shit. I can find plenty of neodymium powered drivers that will handle plenty of power. And 600 watts huh? Im sure thats an just what you're reading off the top of your amp... which will be nothing close to what its putting out, just an exaggerated "MAX" output figure, which the amp will almost never reach. And if you ask me, competition audio dosent exactly go with the crappy brands... audiobahn IS ichibahn, its the same company.

And the projectors you bought ARE A6 projectors... I know what they look like, and if you wanna really be dumb about it, read the auction.

You are right, they are A6, I wasn't thinking straight, I'm on my 10'th straight day of working 14 hour shifts, my brain is fried. I can't check my auction, cuz ebay's blocked here at work now, but I do remember them being A6. But I'll make em fit.

Yea, i was just wishing you luck on fitting them in there... eitherway, they'll still be easier than TL projectors, ha.

and it'll be a fun project, I have been waiting to do a retrofit on the cl for a long time. Finally found a pair of projectors for a good price so I jumped on em. They look good, they're brand new too. I'm lookin forward to the retro, I do all my own work on my car, so it'll be a fun learning process, and definately worth it since I'll be doing it myself by hand. The audio was a fun project too, I enjoyed gettin the big ass 6x9's in there. Just thought u were hatin the way you were talkin earlier, but hopefully like u said it'll be easier than a TL

those should not be a problem at all

just the hole in the back might be a little big thats all, i would double check the size first before you start ripping apart your lights, and also I have a spare set of lights just in case you mess up

nah, not hatin... just sayin theres a ton of other brands out there that would fit with no problem.

When you do the headlights and are ready to re-seal them... heat them up and get the lenses all pressed back in... then use spring clamps on the outer edges where the corner lights are... that part tends to not seat properly and will lead to leaks.
