Between these 2 momo amps:

a buddy of mine has 2 amps, both are brand new. he's going to keep one and use it and i can have the other. not sure which one to get.

the amps are:

1) HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi-2010D Class-D MONO AMP

On what sub(s)? What's your electrical system like? That will determine what amp you should run, even though they will probably be pretty close on current draw, with the Hifonics pulling a little more than the Rockford.

I'd go with the Brutus. Run it at 4 ohms until you add a second sub, then drop it to 2 ohms. Those subs should take the power just fine, as long as the enclosure is good.
