I heard that the RSX has a 6-speaker BOSE system...and we have only 5??

Its ridiculous!

 

it is not, believe me i have a 2000 TL and 2002 RSX type S and I would give anything for the RSX to have sound like that TL. bigger numbers doesn't mean better sound. RSX sound plain simply SUCKS.

 

Does it really make a big difference with the front tweeters?

 

The more the audio frequency spectrum is sub-divided, the better the reproduction - obviously because each speaker can be optimized for a particular range! BMW has 11 speakers with DSP simulation modes (different preset EQs) so I believe it must sound great - I have not checked it out!

But I would say that high, mid and bass are three basic divisions. Using a combination mid/high driver in a $33,000 car is sheer rip-off !!

 

on the 2000 bmw 328i with the harman kardon 10 speaker system the sound is not that great. it is clear but still no bass.... and that car cost my friend 40k

 

on a 2001 bmw 330i is not that right either it's got lot of bass, but not clear like the bose that we have.
p.s. my friend just bought it, that how i know, i thought it's sound alot better then the tl but it's not.

 

opp.. i mean not that great. oh by the way her car cost 43k
