ok, i found one that is 10" w/ 100 watt.... will this be a decent step up from my 9"? also, this sounds too good to be true.... all i need are the Acura harnesses to use this... do i still need to run power to the front of the car??
i wanna go with this option b/c my car is leased.

I agree with ArN 2000 TL, you sould call someone and ask what the deal is with this thing. I would probably call bazooka directly or at least try this: Info
I may be wrong but it looks to me like this thing plugs into the HU directly which is NOT the thing to do if you want to JUST replace the factory sub. If you are just replacing the sub it would be much easier to tap into the sub amp's harness which is behind the rear pax seat, instead of pulling the HU and running wires all the way to the back.

yea, i think your right. i doubt they have the acura harness that ONLY works for TLs 99-03 w/ the sub harness... what im going to do, which is realy easy b/c my car is leased. im going to order a amp harness from Acura, and then run the wires from the bazooka to it... so no tapping, just plug right in....
do bazookas need to be powered to the battery? or no, bc they do call them self powered amps

I have a bazooka EL 10 inch with the built in amp for sale. I bought it for my Girlfriends Accord and now she does not want it. It's brand new still in the box and has never been used. Make me an offer.

it's real easy to put in a bazooka... just tap the remote-on and input wires going into the stock sub amp (the instructions for doing this have been posted several times, but if you still need help i can help). you will still need to run a wire for the power from the battery to your bazooka. oh yea, btw, if you tap the input wires going into the stock amp, remember that these are low-level (preamp) inputs. you don't need to buy any additional harnesses or anything. just use the one that comes with the sub, and wire it up.
i had an old bazooka (10" EL) sitting around cuz i pulled it out of my celica when i sold it, so i installed it in my TL as a temporary upgrade until i could afford some real subs... even though bazooka isn't the highest quality, it helped ALOT, since i mostly listen to rap/hiphop. i've already done what you're trying to do, so i'll be glad to help with any questions u mite have.
btw, now i'm bumpin 2 10" JLW6's... and lovin it!
