I was wondering why...when sometimes i play my music for a while...fairly loud..and a song with alot of bass...the bass would cut out....then it would return..then come back.....i was like WTF..my gain is not even at a 1/4 of the way..is it because my amp is overheating?..cuz its startin to get annoying..cant play my music too loud without having the bass cut out......any suggestions?. could it be my heatsink?

 

it happened to me a buncha times. it was the amp shutting down on me.

it did come back on after 5 minutes, you might not wanna keep the bass turned up all the time.

adding some cooling fans could remedy the problem. one thing is for sure tho, you could burn out your amp from too much heat, as i found out this weekend.
