avelectronic vs. Dom's tvandnav2go

I was wondering if anyone has any comments on which unit is better...avelectronic - budget version (http//:www.avelectronic.com) or Dom's tvandnav2go unit ((http//:www.tvandnav2go.com).

I think it's safe to say at least 90% of the people who have done this mod have the
tvandnav2go unit, myself included.
I also think thjey're all pretty much the same, not rocket-science electronics -
like they say: "all made in Taiwan !"

How is the video quality between the two?

I like the license plate backup camera that is on the avelectronic site.
Does DOM's tvandnav2go have a similar license plate backup camera.

No idea about the avelectronics one, you'd have to search but I doubt you'd find much, if anything.
Search on "dom'd unit" and you'll get shitload of

I know he has backup cam but this does not have anything to do with the converter unit right ?
Analogy: converter = PC, backup cam etc = Accessories.

The backup camera that they sell on avelectronic.com is already mounted to a license plate frame.

I'm wondering if Dom has a similar backup camera.

From what I've been seeing so far in all the threads, it looks like Dom's unit has better picture quality than the avelectronic unit.

The next thing is what kind of auxiliary input should I get so it will work with my navi and I won't lose XM?

I just bought the Valor Ilink 2 for my ipod interface. It looks like all I need left to complete my setup is Dom's unit, Dom's PNP cable, Auxiliary Input, and a backup camera.

Thanks for all your help!
