This product (do a search for MOBILE AUTHORITY UTS-1300) appears to be identical to the $500 unit people have been purchasing from AVELECTRONIC. Is the only difference that AV gives you a custom wiring harness? If so, that can't be worth the exra $380.

I am trying to find out the horizontal sync frequency of the output of this device. I know the NAV puts out 15KHz, but I want to know if the screen can accept a 32KHz (Standard VGA) input. Anyone know?

 

Cheap. What is it missing, what can't it do, and how hard is install?

People dont forget that is a regular a/v switcher with tv tuner, av electronics sells a unit with added conversion module.
