I have a 2003 CL-S and would like a simple stereo plug style AUX input to add to my stock sound system that i can use to connect my MP3 player and occasionally my Garmin Nav system which has MP3 player built in as well so i can hear the voice commands more clearly. I have the stock Bose system and don't really want to get into replacing the headunit or amp just to gain 1 simple input.

Has anyone done this, I have searched and found several solutions for IPod integration but nothing for a simple AUX input.

 

i used a blitzsafe adapter. It was like 60 bucks, off of one of the vendors on thier website. Works well, my MP3's off my ipod sound like cd quality...

 

Is the blitzsafe only for the ipod or will it work with other brands of MP3 players?

 

Blitzsafe has 2 options, An aux adapter or an Ipod adapter. Your choice.
