I know this might be an impossible dream but I'd just like to replace my GPS with something that doesn't take as long to calculate a route. When I got my car a decade ago the GPS was amazing. Now it is frustrating as my $200 phone can calculate a route faster than my $2000 GPS and I can verbally give an address on my phone.

My car is in fantastic condition but my GPS leaves something to be desired now.

I'd hate to sell my car just so I can get a better GPS.

Has anyone here managed to do it without distroying their dash?
